Thai Massage

Traditional Thai massage is a holistic healing art form that has been around for over 2500 years and is widely used throughout Thailand in spas and medical settings.

This technique combines:

  • Assisted stretching to improve joint range of motion

  • Rhythmic pressure and compressions to relieve muscle tension

  • Gentle mobilization and traction to restore fluid movement

  • Sessions are performed fully clothed on a floor mat or adapted for table-top application — making it easy to integrate into any treatment plan.

Margie first studied Traditional Thai Massage in 1994 and returned to Thailand in 1995 to earn her Teacher Certification. Her passion for Thai culture and the healing arts has led her to host over 30 educational tour groups to Thailand — giving massage therapists the rare opportunity to learn directly from master instructors.

2025 marks her 34th trip, continuing a legacy of cultural immersion, advanced training, and unforgettable experiences.

Thai Massage Course Offerings

Traditional Thai Massage (Mat-Based) 16 CEs
This 2-day, hands-on course trains therapists to perform a full 90-minute Traditional Thai Massage on a professional Thai mat. You will learn effective techniques from supine, prone, and seated positions, along with safe body mechanics that protect your own joints.

Ideal for massage therapists ready to expand into a movement-based, floor modality rooted in centuries-old therapeutic practice.

Table Top Thai Massage 16 CEs
This 2-day, hands-on course teaches therapists how to safely and effectively adapt Traditional Thai techniques to the massage table. You will learn a 90-minute routine that will include supine, side-lying, and prone positions.

Ideal for therapists who want to integrate Thai methods into their existing treatments without changing their setup.

Thai Foot Massage 12 CEs
This 2-day, hands-on course teaches a complete 60-minute Thai Foot Massage routine focused on improving circulation, reducing muscle fatigue, and promoting deep relaxation in the feet and lower legs. You’ll learn a structured sequence you can offer as a full session — or seamlessly integrate select techniques into your existing treatments.

Thai Foot Massage is unique as it uses a wooden stick to provide appropriate pressure on the foot and toes, thus relieving tension not just for the client but the practitioner as well.

Ideal for therapists who want to expand their menu with a dedicated foot treatment or enhance their clinical protocol with targeted lower-extremity techniques.

All of our courses are CE Broker and NCBTMB approved.
