In this classroom, you'll learn the advanced treatment of Lower Back, Hips and Glutes. MyoZen therapy utilizes biomechanical techniques from ancient eastern healing massage that allow the therapist to target specific areas, for maximum results with minimal effort. Its clinical foundation is based on both western and eastern medical massage incorporating components of neuromuscular, myofascial, and acupressure point therapy. The word Myo- refers the laser focus treatment of the muscle and Zen- is the state of mind the therapist accesses. By using a variety of procedures, incorporating specific treatment protocols, as a therapist you're not working hard but instead, resting in a Zen-like state allowing the muscle to slowly release. A comprehensive manual is included with each of Margie's courses.
